About Me

I’m a content writer and editor based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but the bulk of my professional career took place in New York. For over eleven years, I worked as a book editor at Dutton, an imprint of Penguin Random House, after graduating from Middlebury College with a BA in English Literature. My list at Dutton focused on crime, thrillers, suspense, and smart commercial fiction. My curiosity to explore new worlds, untold stories, and indelible historical inflection points also led me to acquire narrative nonfiction. I had the privilege of working with established New York Times bestsellers, Edgar-award winners, and critically acclaimed debut authors.

In November 2018, I moved to Gothenburg with my Swedish husband and two young kids. One year later, I joined Crooked Lane Books as an acquisitions editor-at-large, where I acquired crime fiction while simultaneously studying Swedish. In 2020, I embarked on a digital marketing course at Medieinstitutet, and in my last semester, joined the marketing team at WirelessCar, an automotive software company.
